The 6th edition once again was held in August. The tournament had 2 GMs thus GM norms were not possible, but this time it included two top American female players among the participants. American GM, Joel Benjamin was first with 7/9. Another US representative, GM Alexander Shabalov finished second with 6.5/9. Third was taken by Edmonton IM, Edward Porper with 5.5/9. Another Edmontonian, FM Vladimir Pechenkin, had quite a remarkable event. He scored a very impressive 5/9, but it was even more impressive how he has done that. Vlad finished the tournament with a super solid 8 draws and one victory!
